Vinod Yadav is a highly accomplished banking technology executive with over two decades of international and regional experience, spanning digital banking, wealth management, retail banking, and transaction banking. He has led technology transformation programs for banks in the UAE, wider GCC, Asia, and Europe, giving him a unique global perspective on modern banking models and regulatory requirements. He currently serves as Head of Technology at Emirates Investment Bank, where he is spearheading the bank’s technology transformation through the implementation of a new core banking and wealth management platform. This initiative is enabling the bank’s vision of becoming a leading digitally enabled private bank in the region, enhancing both client experience and operational resilience. Previously, as Chief Technology Officer at AGTB Bank (UAE), Mr. Yadav successfully built and deployed a secure, cloud-native digital banking platform, covering corporate onboarding, core banking, AML, and payments, all hosted on public cloud infrastructure within the ADGM regulatory framework. His experience in establishing cloud-based, regulator-approved environments directly aligns with the CBUAE’s focus on digital innovation under secure and compliant conditions. As Chief Solution Officer at Uno Bank (Philippines), he was part of the founding team that launched the country’s first cloud-native digital bank, achieving full regulatory approval and market launch within just nine months. This experience demonstrates his ability to architect, implement, and operationalize end-to-end digital banking capabilities from the ground up, including customer onboarding, CASA, time deposits, debit cards, and lending products. He has led senior leadership roles in companies like Intellect Design Arena (UAE), Tech Mahindra, Citibank, Nucleus Softwares in his earlier stints. His educational background includes an MBA in International Business (Nottingham Trent University, UK) and an Advanced Master’s in Globally Distributed Work from leading global institutions including IIM Bangalore, UCLA Anderson, SDA Bocconi, and City University of Hong Kong.
