A recognized innovator in the world of complex solution delivery, Mark’s extensive business achievements span the International and Islamic Banking and Payments sector. A seasoned board member, entrepreneur and Fintech investor, Mark has been based in the Middle East for the last 6 years and recently joined the National Bank of Kuwait in 2023 as their Chief Technology and Transformation Officer based in Kuwait City. Previously Mark was leading the Technology and Digital Payments agenda as COO and CTO for Network International in the UAE serving GCC, Jordan , Egypt and South Africa. Prior to the UAE, Mark spent several years in Saudi Arabia on the Alrajhi Bank executive team as CIO - at that time the world’s largest Islamic Bank. Prior to the Middle East, Mark spent 20 years across Investment and Retail Banking Executive leadership roles with both Deutsche Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland / NatWest. Having created lead and executed various technology and customer strategies, from business transformation, digitization, integration and mergers and acquisitions , Mark has a proven Executive track record of enabling business innovation and delivering transformational change on an international scale.
