Mamoun joined Ajman Bank in November 2023 as Chief Technology Officer. He has over 27 years of experience in technology banking, and financial services were he held key roles including EVP and CIO, with a focus on digital transformation and innovation. Recognized among the top 20 CIOs in the region, with a global professional footprint, Mamoun is an expert in AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Transformation, Big Data, and Analytics. During his career, he has led major cost reduction initiatives and improved operational efficiencies, achieved through digital strategy adoption contributing to significant revenue growth. He has a strong background in risk management, governance, and information security and has also established strategic partnerships with numerous Fintechs, enhancing digital banking services. Mamoun previously held senior positions at global banks like Grindlays, ANZ, Standard Chartered, and Citi Bank, Jordan Commercial Bank and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Jordan.
