As the Chief Information and Technology Officer at Commercial Bank of Qatar, Lucian is focused on driving the bank’s Digital and AI transformation agenda so that they remain Qatar’s best banking digital innovator. To deliver lasting value, he believes one must always mix in varying proportions - technology, product development, design, responsible AI, change management and extreme collaboration. During his career, Lucian taken challenges across all these domains: building and running various business-critical tech organizations in Financial Markets while driving the global Agile transformation at ING Bank, developing production-grade AI Products in ING’s corporate innovation unit and scaling the unit itself, building the world-first fintech scale-up aimed at solving money-laundering for the main five Dutch banks both as CTO and Chief AI Officer. His mission is to create human well-being by driving positive, meaningful change with heart and pragmatic tech.
