Under his leadership, Deem has become a purpose-driven brand focused on inclusion, innovation, and impact, pioneering alternative credit models and launching products that empower salaried and self-employed individuals alike. Most notably, Chris successfully led Deem’s landmark USD 400 million securitization with J.P. Morgan, strengthening its funding base and expanding access to responsible lending. With over two decades of experience across the Middle East and Europe, Chris is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and INSEAD alumnus, recognized for steering financial institutions through turnarounds and crises, including the 2008 and 2020 downturns. Beyond the boardroom, Chris represents the United Arab Emirates in triathlon, reflecting his enduring commitment to excellence, resilience, and purpose in both sport and leadership.
